Celebrate Lunar New Year 2015 at Studio Herbage floral and fiber arts, a perfect way to express your feelings of gratitude, joy or ‘just because’ in the new year.
Celebrate Lunar New Year with great design!
According to various authorities on Chinese zodiac and mythology, the sheep/goat/ram or “yang” is an extremely auspicious sign. For those who are born under this sign, the year will be full of good fortune and positive energy. At Studio Herbage we would love to share the positive energy of this years zodiac sign by offering great design; a number of new classes, a diverse range of new botanical and fiber art and of course a wide selection of lifestyle enhancing fresh cut botanicals, flowers and foliage designed in classic clear crystal containers or custom made vessels.
Accentuate and enhance your Corporate space!
To keep the Chi flowing smoothly in the lunar new year, perhaps your corporate space could use a floral enhancement to soften those hard edges! Research has shown that flowers and plants enhance the working environment and contribute significantly to positive perceptions by employees and customers while also helping to allay the negative effects of indoor air pollution.
According to an article posted on JP Office Workstations, one of Australia’s fastest growing office furniture retailers, “Researchers at the Cardiff University of Psychology found that plants in the workplace increase employee productivity and feelings of well-being.
Findings show that workers feel better about their work, both emotionally and physically, and it directly affects the quality of their work output.” Additionally they cite that research from Texas A&M University showing that, “Adding flowers and plants to the work environment resulted in innovative thinking, problem solving, and original ideas” according to Dr. Roger Ulrich, lead researcher on the project.
